1 What data may we collect from you?

• Electronic payment gateways: When paying electronically, payment data is processed directly through authorized and licensed payment gateways (such as Paymob) in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards, and Betaliz does not store your complete credit card data on its servers.
• Technical service providers: Hosting companies, data analytics, and digital marketing tools, under data processing agreements that obligate them to maintain the confidentiality of your data and use it exclusively for the purpose agreed upon with us.
• Marketing and advertising: We may use your aggregated and anonymized data to provide you with information about offers that interest you, and we may allow a third party (such as advertising platforms) to use aggregated data to reach a similar target audience, without disclosing your individual identity.
• Business transformations: In the event of an acquisition of the company or its assets or a merger with another entity, your data may be transferred as one of the company's assets, with the new entity bound by the provisions of this policy or notifying you of any material change.
• Legal and regulatory bodies: We disclose your data when required by law, a court order, or to protect our rights, safety, the safety of our users, and the security of the site.

٦ Data transfer outside the Arab Republic of Egypt

Some technology service providers (such as cloud hosting services or analytics tools) may host your data on servers outside of Egypt. In this case, we are committed to ensuring that this transfer is carried out with sufficient safeguards to protect your data, in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 relating to cross-border transfers, including contracting with providers that adhere to internationally recognized data protection standards.

We store data within Egypt or abroad through authorized service providers, to the extent necessary to provide our services and fulfill your requests. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including encryption in transit, firewalls, and restricted access controls for authorized personnel only.

• Account data and order history: These are retained throughout the duration of your account activity, and for an additional period after closure, up to [number] 5 years To comply with legal tax and accounting obligations.
• Warranty data: It is retained throughout the product warranty period and for an additional year after its expiry for claims tracking purposes.
• Marketing data: is retained until you request to unsubscribe, or for a maximum of two years from your last active interaction, whichever is sooner.
• After the retention period expires, your data is either permanently deleted or anonymized so that it cannot be linked to you.

However, we emphasize that you are personally responsible for protecting your account password and not sharing it, and that sending data over the internet always carries a degree of general technical risk that cannot be guaranteed to be completely 100% free.

We will respond to your request within a maximum period of 30 days From the date of receipt, we may request additional information to verify your identity before processing the order.

٩ Privacy of children and minors

Our services are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without the explicit consent of their parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have collected data about a minor without such consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that data as soon as we become aware of it. 10 Notification in case of a data breach

In the event of any security breach that threatens the confidentiality or integrity of your personal data in a way that may cause you serious harm, Betaliz is committed to notifying you and the competent authorities (Personal Data Protection Center) without undue delay, stating the nature of the breach and the measures taken to limit its effects, in accordance with the time limits stipulated by law.
